Made in Japan 🇯🇵 Slimwalk Pinkish Purple Long Compression Stockings [New Enhanced Firming Version]
(Suitable for sleeping, nighttime wear, or lounging at home)
Compression stockings are a lifesaver for expectant mothers who spend ten months in bed during pregnancy, people who stand for long periods, or those with mild varicose veins, helping to relieve leg fatigue and reduce swelling.
Previously, the Consumer Council conducted tests on the efficacy of compression stockings, and the brand that performed best was Slimwalk from Japan. Its superior durability and pressure distribution perfectly met the required standards. Furthermore, Slimwalk stockings are medical-grade health compression stockings, recognized by general medical equipment manufacturers in Japan . They feature a segmented pressure design, suitable for different parts of the body, providing optimal protection against varicose veins and reducing edema.

【principle 】
Compression stockings work by providing the highest pressure at the ankle and then gradually decreasing it upwards along the leg. This external pressure forces venous blood, lymph, and metabolic waste from the legs to flow back to the heart from the soles of the feet, reducing the pressure on the veins and valves in the lower limbs. This helps prevent varicose veins and alleviate leg edema.
Compression stockings must provide even pressure, being tighter at the bottom and looser at the top, to effectively promote the upward return of venous blood and lymph from the lower limbs to the heart. According to British Standard BS661210, the pressure provided by compression stockings should be highest at the ankle (100%), decreasing upwards along the leg. The pressure at the calf should be 50% to 85% of the ankle pressure, and the pressure at the thigh should be 50% to 85% of the calf pressure. In other words, compression stockings must meet these standards to improve varicose veins and edema.
Wearing progressive compression stockings is one way to prevent varicose veins from worsening. Progressive compression stockings must meet the standard of progressive compression, meaning the pressure is highest at the ankle, gradually decreasing upwards, and lowest at the thigh. This helps blood flow back to the heart of the legs, relieves fatigue in the lower limbs, and thus slows the progression of varicose veins.
